BCF Announces New Leadership Team Members

The Brookline Community Foundation is pleased to announce new leadership team members. Over the past year, BCF has welcomed three new Board of Trustee members, three new Professional Advisors Committee (PAC) members, and two new staff members. PAC is a committee of Brookline-area professionals appointed by the Board of Trustees to act as BCF ambassadors and advisers for philanthropic, fiduciary and legal matters. see more




Egmont Street community mural celebrates diversity

Among the red brick buildings that make up the Brookline Public Housing Authority’s Egmont Street Apartments stands a wall brought to life with vibrant colors, flowers, instruments and “welcome” written in 29 languages. Called “Together We Thrive”, it is the Egmont Street Apartments’ first community mural.

Painted on the exterior of the Egmont Public Housing Community Room, every aspect of the mural, from its inception to the finishing touches, are the product of teamwork. see more



Brookline Community Foundation Supports Students Pursuing Their Dreams

On June 3rd, the 28th Annual Brookline High School (BHS) Scholarship Breakfast celebrated the achievements of 142 graduating seniors who received a total of $298,200 in scholarships to use towards their college or post-secondary training programs. Each year, scholarships are awarded to BHS students with financial need, specifically for crucial tuition payments. see more




Brookline HUB Among 14 Organizations Awarded BCF Fall Grants

The Brookline Community Foundation (BCF) awarded more than $235,000 in grants to 14 organizations making a difference in Brookline from its 2017 Fall Community Grant Cycle.
